I listen to most of your podcasts, just haven’t gotten around to all. I love BBTL and ABTL, I just have been remiss on the commenting. Well done — perfecto!!

Although Twilight has it’s interest for the younger set and the maudlin (it is a little slow), it is not Whedonesque (sorry for the TM infringement). I don’t like to deify Whedon as he is only as good as his team (including the actors, etc.,).

I know Twilight has some points, and you may feel differently, but as I see it, it’s just not as strong a concept as the Buffyverse or the universe of Firefly. There’s not as much to say, think or feel in it. Bella and Edward are attractive characters, but they aren’t rich and complex like Buffy or Angel.
