  1. Hi Tabz,

I was saddened to hear that BTLS may (will?) abandon the Whedonverse. I guess we haven’t been showing you people enough love.

It’s also sad to think of you switching to Twilight. I know Twilight has some points, and you may feel differently, but as I see it, it’s just not as strong a concept as the Buffyverse or the universe of Firefly. There’s not as much to say, think or feel in it. Bella and Edward are attractive characters, but they aren’t rich and complex like Buffy or Angel.

Are Buffy fans getting bored, moving on? I’m not. That’s all I know. That, and there are at least two review podcasts out there currently being produced. I hope to start a podcast of my own next year.

What can I do? I’ll put some notices up on the Slay Alive board, see if I can generate some traffic for you. I also hope to attend the Slayage conference and the ATP meetup in Flagstaff AZ, both in June.

And I’ll probably be in LA some time around July 1. It would be great to meet you. Is there any event where that might happen?

    Kindly,

    R. Chandler
